We're collecting data on how it behaves and we'll blacklist the architectures it doesn't like.įirst of all thank you for the response - can you doublecheck (see: especially the code snippet there) Test it yourself, if it improves performance without making your games unstable after a few menutes, it's safe to use. It's safe on AMD and at least Ada, and improves performance a 30-70% if the user didin't apply their own boost settings (most poeple don't), but we're still testing on older Nidia GPUs and Intel, some users report instability, and some don't like the coil whine noise of having the GPU actually working. This helps shader caching speed too, Nvidia cards now are very fast dealing with shaders on Koei games.įorce clocks, or how we call it internally, turbo mode, runs a compute load in the background to force the GPU to clock up. The new Vulkan pipeline cache should be always safe to use, it's an external per vendor one instead of relying on the driver (AMD's driver has a stupid low limit, so almost nothing gets cached with the setting disabled).
